International research funding
The international research funding team at TUM ForTe is the first point of contact for TUM researchers with European and international project proposals.
Advice
Do you have a project idea and are looking for a suitable call for proposals? In close cooperation with the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), we provide you with individual advice on European and international funding instruments (setting up the consortium, drafting the application, describing complementary services offered by TUM, etc.) and advise on strategic issues. We support you in addressing the specific research and innovation policy objectives of the individual funding instruments in a targeted manner.
Information and networking
We regularly organise information events on current calls for proposals and funding programmes on site in Munich and Garching. In Brussels, TUM is actively involved in the science policy discourse in the EU through the joint office of the EuroTech Universities. The office in Brussels offers direct access to a network of contacts and can establish local contacts.
Newsletter
In the regularly published newsletter (TUM identification required) on research funding, we inform you about current calls for proposals and funding opportunities at TUM as well as about national, European and international research programmes. The newsletter also contains information on interesting events.
An overview of current news within the international research funding of TUM ForTe, funding projects and calls for proposals can be found here.
Calls for proposals on the website of the European Commission
An overview of all calls for proposals in Horizon Europe can be found on the Funding & Tenders Portal of the European Union. On the portal, you can use the new keyword search in the "Work Programmes" to find calls that match your own research focus.
If you have any questions about the content of Horizon Europe, please contact the International Research Funding team.
