Research and Commercial Cooperations and Strategic Industry Partnerships

TUM promotes knowledge-oriented basic research as well as problem-defined applied research. TUM ForTe is the first point of contact and central coordination point for all forms of research and business cooperation with external partners as well as for strategic industry partnerships.

Our team supports scientists at TUM in aligning research projects with external research, industry, and business partners with the strategic development goals of the university. We also act as a contact point between scientists at TUM, companies, universities, and non-university research institutions. Furthermore, we organize industry- and topic-specific research workshops for TUM scientists and external research partners. We support the university management and companies in strategic industry partnerships.
