With its workshops and Postdoc101 Talks, the TUM Talent Factory offers postdocs at TUM numerous free events on various topics. They support you in developing important skills and knowledge in different career-relevant areas that go beyond everyday research activities. Our events also offer the opportunity to network with other postdocs. Our program brochure provides an overview of all current events.
Please use our registration form to sign up for the Postdoc Workshops.
Our workshops are aimed exclusively at postdocs at TUM and are held in small groups of 8-12 participants. Therefore, please use your TUM email address when registering if possible. Researchers who will become a TUM member in the next few months can already register for workshops. In this case, please inform us in advance via postdoc@tum.de. Researchers who are not affiliated with TUM are very welcome to join the Munich Postdoc101 Talks.
Except for Info-Sessions, where the number of participants is not limited, registration opens 6 weeks before the start of a workshop. Registration closes 2-3 days before a workshop starts. In the case of a late registration, please send us an email at postdoc@tum.de. Those who have registered will be informed in good time whether they can attend the workshop. The selected applicants are expected to participate in the entire workshop.
Workshop cancellation & no-show policy: We ask you to ensure your attendance at the workshops for which you have been selected, or to cancel as soon as possible (ideally by 10 days beforehand) via postdoc@tum.de or via the registration form. Researchers who don't show up for a workshop without excuse or cancel at extremely short notice will eventually not be able to participate in future TUM Talent Factory workshops.

The Munich Postdoc101 Talks are an online lecture series on various relevant topics that takes place online via Zoom on Wednesdays between 16:00 and 18:00.
The Talks are organised in collaboration with the Munich Postdoc Network and are open to all postdocs in the Munich area (and at other TUM campuses). Interested PhD students are also welcome to join!
Those who registered will receive the access data by email on Tuesday afternoon before the respective Talk.
In addition to our regular Workshops and Talks, postdocs at TUM have access to the Nature Masterclasses and the Webcast "How to Apply for Professorships", online formats that enable them to continue their education independent of time and place.
