Description: The demands of research and teaching often lead to exhaustion, overload and stress. Even worse, tight deadlines, many anxietes and huge workloads threaten to impair our mental health. This talk pro-vides insights and methods to work in a productive and sustainable way. It is based on research and extensive work experience in various fields from business to academia. In addition to individual practices, the talk also helps to set up structures that support students and colleagues to work more efficiently. The participants will be given the opportunity to share their best practices and receive additional information and resources to keep up the great work without sacrificing mental health and well-being.

Trainer: Stephan Pfob is Smart Work Guide and CEO of Berlin Alley, specialized in feedback, organizational culture and the psychology of sustainable work. He has extensive work experience in different fields, ranging from academia to administration, from teaching to business intelligence and information design. With his colleagues, he has written a practical guide to appreciation and operates the softskill platform Toolbox für Gute Arbeit. He is a coach at Science & Startups and trainer for Tum ForTe since 2020.

Registration: The series is open to all postdocs in the Munich area and we do not limit the number of participants. You can register until Tuesday noon before the respective Talk via the registration form and will receive the login data by Tuesday afternoon. For this format, there is no selection process and you do not need to inform us if you are unable to participate.
