Step 2: TUM-internal selection procedure
We will contact you and confirm receipt of your application. In individual cases, we will ask you to have an informal interview with us or to send us a short letter of motivation.
There is no entitlement to be nominated for the program by TUM. If there are more applicants than places on the list, the performance in the courses mentioned, or alternatively the academic performance, will be decisive.
In accordance with the EUIPO guidelines, TUM will nominate a maximum of 10% third-country nationals for the EUIPO, provided that there are enough applicants with EU nationality to fill the remaining 90% of the list places.
Candidates nominated by TUM will be notified by 24.02.2025 and invited to apply to the respective office.
Step 3: Your application to the EPO or EUIPO
Candidates listed by us must apply independently to the relevant office.
Note: Please allow sufficient time to prepare the required documents in the desired format and (if necessary) create accounts on the platforms.
